2026 Election Update
As the November 2026 election approaches, Jonathan Beutler is proud to seek reelection as Trustee on the Palos Verdes Library District Board. Throughout his current term, Jonathan has been a stalwart defender of broad library programming, championing policies that protect the interests of community stakeholders, and a careful steward of the taxpayer dollars that support our agency and facilities — ensuring that residents continue to receive great library services without compromise.
Jonathan is committed to continuing this work: expanding access to the programs residents value, keeping the District accountable and transparent, and making sure every dollar entrusted to the District is spent responsibly. He believes strongly in representing the people of this District as a responsible, engaged, and trustworthy public servant, and he is asking for your continued support this November.

Past updates: 2022 Election
As of 5:00pm on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, only three candidates have filed for three available seats on the PVLD Board of Trustees; therefore, this race will not be on the November ballot and all three candidates will assume their seats on the Board upon the beginning of the new term in late 2022, as confirmed by the County Registrar's official certification. In light of this important update, Jonathan has been focused, first as Trustee-elect and later as Trustee, on serving the communities of the Palos Verdes Peninsula region in this capacity.
